Overview
The Academy Chamber Ensemble perform Mendelssohn’s ever-popular octet– composed when he was a mere 16 – alongside the UK premiere of ‘Partita’ for string octet by Sally Beamish.
This programme replaces the previously advertised concert with mandolinist Avi Avital which unfortunately cannot go ahead due to travel restrictions and the cancellation of our European tour.
The Chamber Ensemble’s performance will be available to watch online from Friday 9 July.
